Bureau of Planning, Research and Development

The Bureau of Planning, Research and Development, which shall be headed by an Assistant Minister appointed by the President with the consent of the Senate, shall have the following mandate and core functions:

a).     Development, in coordination with the Bureaus of Instructions and  Administration, short, medium and long                term plans to adequately   address  the educational needs of the nation;

b).     Facilitate the development and maintenance of an appropriate  communication system that guarantees                          internal  and external data flow,   as well as horizontal and vertical information exchange;

c).     Facilitate the development and monitoring and evaluation of projects  under the auspices of the Ministry.
