PUBLIC UPDATE ON THE 160 MoE INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

Since applications closed, many of you have been asking: What happened to the internship recruitment? When will applicants hear back? Has selection already been done?

Here is where the process stands.

The Ministry of Education received 1,640 applications for the 160 internship opportunities under the Public Schools Monitoring Project.

The applications are now being reviewed and assessed by county using the criteria published in the original announcement. From the 1,640 applicants, 250 candidates will be shortlisted by Friday, September 18, 2026.

Those 250 applicants will move to the interview stage, with telephone interviews expected to begin Monday, September 21. Following the interviews and final assessment, 160 interns will be selected.

If you applied:

1. No final selection has been made yet.

2. You do not need to apply again.

3. Keep the phone number you submitted active and accessible.

4. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for the interview stage.

5. The Ministry will continue to provide updates through its official platforms.

The response to this opportunity has been significant: 1,640 young Liberians competing for 160 places. We appreciate the interest, patience, and the many applicants who have continued to ask for clarity on the process.

The review is ongoing. The shortlist comes next. Stay connected to the Ministry of Education for the official update.
