Liberia Hosts AFTRA Executive Meeting

On September 8–9, 2026, Liberia will host the Executive Meeting of the Africa Federation of Teaching Regulatory Authorities (AFTRA) at the EJS Ministerial Complex in Monrovia.

The meeting will bring together education leaders and teaching regulatory authorities from across Africa to advance discussions on professional standards, quality assurance, collaboration, and stronger systems for the teaching profession.

For Liberia, the engagement comes at an important time as the Ministry of Education continues work to strengthen teacher professionalization, regulation, and quality across the education system.
