UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education 2026

Applications are now open for the UNESCO Prize for Girls’ and Women’s Education. This global award recognizes impactful initiatives advancing education for girls and women, with two winners receiving US$50,000 each.

Eligible applicants include government institutions, NGOs, schools, training centers, and community-based organizations. Projects must have been operational for at least two years and show clear impact.

Applications from Liberia must be submitted by May 7, 2026 for national review.
