On April 21, the Ministry of Education joined partners to mark the International Day of Women in Industry in Ganta, Nimba County.
The engagement brought together students and practitioners to explore how more young women can access and succeed in technical and vocational fields.
Representing the Ministry, Assistant Minister Nathaniel K. Cisco, Jr. encouraged students, especially young women, to consider skills training as a practical pathway into the world of work. Contributions from partners and sector leaders reinforced the importance of combining technical skills with academic learning, and creating clearer pathways into industry.
The discussions focused on expanding access, strengthening delivery, and ensuring that opportunities in skills-based education are open and meaningful for young women across the country.
