Minister of Education Engages Press on Digitized School Monitoring System

The Ministry of Education has introduced a digitized Monitoring and Supervision System designed to strengthen oversight of schools across Liberia.
At a press engagement in Monrovia, Minister of Education Dr. Jarso Maley Jallah explained that the system enables monitoring officers to capture real-time, geo-referenced data directly from schools, ensuring that supervision information reflects actual conditions on the ground.
The platform will support monitoring of teacher attendance, classroom instruction, lesson plans, student registers, and the availability of teaching and learning materials.
The pilot phase will begin in Montserrado, Rivercess, Sinoe, Bomi, and Gbarpolu Counties.
Developed by HAK Technology, the system is fully funded by the Government of Liberia through the Public Sector Investment Program (PSIP).
By grounding school supervision in credible, real-time data, the Ministry is strengthening its ability to respond to challenges, support schools more effectively, and ensure that learning standards are upheld across the education system.
