Meet our EXCEL Project Coordinator, Mardea Rhoda Nyumah.

The Ministry of Education is pleased to introduce Ms. Nyumah, who will lead coordination efforts for the Excellence in Learning in Liberia (EXCEL) Project.

With more than two decades of experience in education, youth development, and child protection, she brings extensive expertise from both government and international development institutions. Her professional background includes leadership roles supporting foundational learning, girls’ education, workforce development, and education system strengthening.

As Project Coordinator, she will work closely with the Ministry, development partners, and stakeholders to support the implementation of the EXCEL Project and advance efforts to improve learning outcomes for Liberian children.
